In the vast, dark universe shine many galaxies containig over 100,000 million stars. One small, ordinary star, our Sun, has a special family of nine planets and moons called the solar system.

The most unique planet in our solar system is the Earth, where life is able to exist. Nothing  can live on the eight other planets; you would freeze on Pluto, fry on Mercury and be squashed on Venus. So stay safe and don't try space travel until you have learned from this book all you can about the solar system.
